You have a special Christmas Sweater Day at your school, and you want to make sure not to feel alone in that Rudolph shirt? No problem!

While managing your school, go to the CALENDAR section. On the left, you see your school calendar, and on the right, the list of available special days.

To add a new special day, click the "+" button on the right side.

You must provide a title and select a symbol and its color, but you can decide to not show them in Studyo. Since we don't want to interfere with the expected cycle day, we leave the "Cycle Day" option at "Keep Current". See our documentation for more advanced scenarios.

When you're done, that new special day appears in green on the right side, and "Save" and "Cancel" buttons appear on the left side. That's because all changes you make in the calendar are not propagated until you click "Save". If you mess up, no worries, you can always press "Cancel" and nobody will be affected.

For now, that new special day is not applied to any day. You can either drag its symbol onto a day or click that day to open the list of applied special days.

Click the "+" button on a special day line to assign it to that day.

Your special day is now applied to the target day. All you need to do is press "Save" to apply all changes.

Students and teachers will then see that special day atop the target day.
